The 22nd Hair O’ The Dog (HOD) took place Saturday night at the Crystal Tea Room in Center City. This fundraising event was voted best Phiadelphia event 2 years in a row, and received a Philadelphia Nightlife Award in 2014 & 2015. The event was hosted by: Bex and Mike Adam of 96.5 Amp Radio. Nearly 2,000 people attended the event, where a portion of the proceeds benefited THON; Penn State’s Dance Marathon,the largest student run philanthropy in the world which benefits pediatric cancer.
The event featured, Philly’s hottest band, Go Go Gadget. Go Go’s special Hair O’ The Dog performance incorporated their epic “light-up drum show.” Go Go Gadget has performed at THON 8 years in a row… There were many notables in attendance, our standout was Geno Vento, owner of Geno’s Steaks. The night was extra special for Geno and the best cheesesteaks in Philly when Sugar House Casino reveled Geno’s Steaks as an official new addition to the casino.
