Geno’s Steaks heads down to Spruce Street Harbor Park at the Waterfront

Now through October 1, take a trip down to the Delaware River Waterfront to visit one of Philadelphia’s favorite summer attractions. The Spruce Street Harbor Park features fun for any age. Take your favorite guy or gal to see beautiful lights strung throughout the trees, hang out in the hammocks, or grab a beer on the floating barge. If you’re looking for family-friendly fun, kids love playing skee-ball in the arcade or snacking on freshly-baked funnel cake.

The free park offers incredible views that get better as the sun goes down. Soak up the sun during the day and catch a beautiful LED light show in the trees at night. If you want to hang out with a large group, you can rent a private hammock lounge area for two and a half hours for up to 20 friends or family members. Watch the sun set and enjoy the summer weather with your favorite people. Whether it’s a birthday, a small company gathering, or a reunion, get the hammocks and views all to yourselves.

Other fun activities include beating your opponents in life-size Connect Four or taking a picture in the oversized “Visit Philly” chair. End the night the right way with a Geno’s cheesesteak and beautiful views at Spruce Street Harbor Park. If you don’t want your night to end, head down the connecting path to the Blue Cross RiverRink until September 4. Skate on the roller rink, get a hole-in-one on the mini golf course, or go on the rides at The Midway, a carnival-inspired amusement park. Whether you’re visiting the city or are a resident, the annual pop-up garden and RiverRink is a highly-anticipated outing each year.
