The Philadelphia Flower Show Presents “Holland: Flowering the World”

Run by the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society (PHS), the Philadelphia Flower Show is the world’s oldest and largest indoor horticulture event. Each year, it attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors. Last year, more than 250,000 guests attended. You don’t have to be a floral enthusiast to enjoy this top Philadelphia attraction. It offers live entertainment, over 100 vendors, and the finest displays of large-scale gardens, floral creations, and landscapes.

What’s New in 2017?

From March 11 to 19 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, you can explore this year’s theme, “Holland: Flowering the World.”  This year’s show will make you feel like you’re in Holland, with tons of new exhibits, including:

  • Modern greening and traditional windmills
  • Mosaic-crafted gardens

Fun Flower Show Experiences

Teddy Bear Tea: Bringing the kids along? Don’t miss the Flower Show’s special “Teddy Bear Tea” afternoon event on Sunday, March 19. This unique tea party invites kids to bring their favorite teddy bear to join them for tea, snacks, and live entertainment. Advanced tickets are required.

Garden Spa: A new Flower Show event, the Garden Spa allows guests to create their own potpourri or essential oil, or they can enjoy an electronic massage while sipping on champagne and savoring heavenly chocolates.

Butterflies Live!: Just imagine yourself being surrounded by 1,000 fluttering butterflies! This exhibition features 20 domestic and exotic species, as well as native plants that encourage pollination.

Early Morning Tours: Skip the crowds and book an Early Morning Tour for exclusive Flower Show access with an expert tour guide. If you love to take photos, check out special morning tours, which are led by nationally renowned photographers, to learn about the best way to capture floral photos.
