Summer is coming to an end soon, but we have a few things to look forward to before the official start of fall. Geno’s Steaks acknowledges that many members of our Geno’s community want to know what we have planned for occasions such as back to school, Labor Day, and the last days of summer. Below, the Geno’s Steaks team has included a few updates for this upcoming September.
Back to School
While it is always bittersweet to see summer wrap up as the kids prepare to head back to school, at Geno’s Steaks we know that the beginning of the academic year is a momentous occasion for our Philly community. We speak to the importance of education and wish all of the Philly students good luck with starting school! And, parents, remember that Geno’s is open for lunches should you have the idea to drop one of our delicious, south Philly cheesesteaks off to your kid this school year. It beats the school lunch version, that’s for sure!
Labor Day
September 5th is Labor Day this year, and many of us within Philadelphia have off for the national holiday. Labor Day is a great chance to unwind, relax, and take a moment before fall truly gets going. If you are taking a break from cooking on your long weekend, Geno’s Steaks is open 24/7 and will be around to fulfill any of your South Philly cheesesteak cravings. Have a safe, fun, and relaxing Labor Day!
Final Summer Fun
Even with summer coming to an end soon there are still some exciting things to look forward to in the pipeline ahead of fall’s official start on September 22nd. Geno’s Steaks has been celebrating Sunday Fundays with DJ Perry Angelozzi since the spring, and it has been great to celebrate with the community while enjoying the great weather. We still have one more Sunday Fundays scheduled before the end of the summer on September 11th and hope to see old friends and new friendly faces there. As always, Geno’s Steaks is excited to go out with a bang this summer and will keep our Geno’s Steaks community updated on any other opportunities we have in the pipeline for final summer fun as well.
