Philadelphia Celebrates LGBTQ Pride Month in Style!

Every June, Pride Month offers Philadelphians the opportunity to reflect on the many accomplishments of the LGBTQ community and recognize the brave men and women involved in the Stonewall Riots that took place over 50 years ago. With parades, festivals, drag shows, and concerts being held across the city, there is a plethora of ways to celebrate Pride this month! Geno’s Steaks, home of the best Philly cheesesteak in Philadelphia, will be celebrating Pride Month alongside Philadelphians all month long and today, will share some of the many exciting Pride events taking place within the city.

Bell Tours Gayborhood and Trans History Tours

This year, Bells Tour’s will be hosting guided tours through the Gayborhood all month long, where visitors can learn more about Philadelphia’s prominent queer neighborhood as well as Philadelphian trans history. The tour will discuss a variety of historical topics, discuss modern history and current topics relating to the Gayborhood today, and visit Attic Youth Center, a Philadelphian non-profit that supports LGBTQIA youth experiencing homelessness. Tour times and dates vary, so guests are encouraged to visit the tour’s site for tickets and times.
