Geno’s Steaks Plans for Fourth of July Celebrations
With the Fourth of July quickly approaching, the team at Geno’s Steaks knows that people all over the city are planning parties and barbecues in honor of our great country’s independence. We also know that just because it’s a holiday doesn’t mean that people won’t still be trying to get their hands on the best South Philly cheesesteak! To help take some of the stress out of planning menus for your Independence Day events, Geno’s Steaks is promoting our bulk orders for your parties. Those who are interested can call Geno’s ahead of the holiday for more information on pricing and when orders will be available for pickup.
Geno’s Cameo in Adam Sandler’s Newest Netflix Film
On June 3rd, Adam Sandler’s newest film, Hustle, hit Netflix. In the film, directed by Jeremiah Zagar, Adam Sandler plays an NBA scout for the 76ers who works to prepare a talented player (Juanco Hernangómez) for the NBA draft. One cool fact about the film is that the film was actually filmed on location in Philly, so it features a variety of scenes filmed around and near the city. A few locations that can be seen in the film include Market Street, Italian Market, South Philadelphia, and Manayunk, with additional filming done in neighboring Camden, NJ. Without giving much away, attentive viewers may notice a quick cameo by Geno’s Steaks in the background of one of the games. This is because the scene was filmed at the basketball courts across the street at Capitolo Playground!
